Buying a new plasma TV is on everybody’s wish list, especially during wintertime. As well it should be, the prices of TV’s are dropping, and many retailers are offering great prices on them. As long as you don’t get sucked into buying a long warranty and more cables that you will never use, you will get an excellent price and have some money to spare. There are two types of plasma TV stands which are most common, a plasma TV floor stand, and a corner plasma TV stand. A plasma TV floor stand is the normal stand that goes in the middle of a wall. It can be made of glass or wood, doesn’t matter. The corner TV stand is excellent for saving space. By putting the TV in the corner, uses a corner of space that chances are would have been wasted. The TV stand makes a triangle with the two walls acting as the base. It allows for many wires to be run through the stand since there is a space in the back that will be hidden.
Some of these stands can be made to look like they are a fireplace to add to the look of your stand! The newer TV stands are great since they do two things: hide wires, and ventilate your systems. Many times the wires for your electronics show and they really look tacky. These new stands are built with ways to feed wires into one hidden area and are made so that you can easily separate wires. Also, TV’s and gaming systems get extremely hot. Many TV stands come with holes so that the air can be circulated and make sure the systems run at their peak rate. Plasma TV stands are an excellent purchase in addition to your new TV.
